The biggest strength of the 2nd WORLD STREET HANDBALL DAYS 🌍🤾♀️✌️ was our ability to work together across borders, cultures, and communities. We truly believe that street handball has the power to bring people together as one — through play, smiles, friendship, fair play, and positive energy.
This is exactly what “World Street Handball Days” can do, and something we have never seen before on this scale. Participants from 9 countries joined the movement and helped create unforgettable moments filled with joy, inclusion, and peace.

For the first time ever, Zikomo Project and Street Handball International have now reached Kenya ❤️ 🌍
The amazing team from Zikomo Project shared this great video with us from a session held as part of the 2nd World Street Handball Day at Transnzoia Academy in Rift Valley, around 300 km from Nairobi 🤾♂️🌍

Street Handball Gambia
World Street Handball Day in Batokunku Village, South Gambia
We had fantastic street handball games with our boys. They are between 14–17 years old and are part of our new handball club, JARAMA Handball Club. The event took place on Sunday, May 10. I was supported by youth volunteers from the local community.
Street handball is making waves in South Gambia. 🌍🤾♂️
Dawda Bah ended by saying that they would appreciate all kinds of donations, especially small support for events like this. They also need materials such as street handball balls and portable goals so they can continue growing handball in The Gambia.

Street Handball Zambia
Today, the Zikomo Project joined the rest of the world in celebrating the second World Street Handball Day.
The event was held at Muchinga Ground in Lusaka Zambia, a total of 20 children participated in exciting fun and movement activities, as well as Street Handball games, demonstrating teamwork, fair play, friendship, and the joy of effort.
Together, we played for a peaceful world.

We want to eliminate war from the world.
Sports have the power to go beyond:
- differences between men and women,
- differences in skin color,
- differences in language,
- and differences in religion and culture.
We truly believe that sports can help people recognize and respect one another, and build a society where we can live and prosper together.
Because sports have universal rules shared by the whole world.
No matter what country people come from, or what position they hold, everyone must play fairly.
It is not only about “equality,”
but also about “fairness” — respecting one another.
Sports make me happy 👍
And that happiness spreads from person to person.
That is the kind of power sports have.

We only needed 4 more players to play two full teams against each other – but they did an amazing job playing 2 vs 2, and luckily the weather was on our side ☀️🙌
