Jamara Handball Club introduced Street Handball

Breaking News!
We’re back and this time with exciting news of forming a new U-15 boys handball team call ‘Jarama Handball Club’ based in Tujereng South Gambia.
On Sunday 12 October 2025 in Tujereng, Street Handball Gambia Fair Play Coach and Project Manager Dawda Bah held a very first street handball training session for the boys. It was also the first time many of these boys played street handball.
And to our surprise, they quickly picked up the basics, had fun playing together, and showed real talent and teamwork in the evening.
“I never played street handball before, but now I love it. I want to teach my friends at my school and in my community too,” said one of the players with a big smile.
After the session, the boys made a strong commitment and promised not only to continue training, but also to become Goodwill Ambassadors for Street Handball in their schools and communities.
Stay tune as we bring you what next for Street Handball Gambia in the coming weeks!
