Street Handball Pop-Up Event No. 1
We start with this successful ZIKOMO Project Street Handball Community Pop-Up was held in Mabrinto, Chipata, bringing together 40 children aged 4 to 13 years for an exciting and engaging training session.
The session was led by Coach Lazarus, with support from Coach Andrew, who together guided the children through fun, inclusive, and active street handball activities. The training focused on teamwork, movement, and skill development while ensuring every child enjoyed the experience.








Street Handball Pop-Up Event No. 2
Today’s Street Handball training session was successfully held in Katopola, Chipata, led by Coach Mary and Coach Emmanuel. The session brought together 15 children aged between 5 and 12, creating a vibrant and energetic environment for learning and play.
The children actively participated in fun warm-up activities, skill-building drills, and exciting street handball games, promoting teamwork, coordination, and confidence.

Street Handball Pop-Up Event No. 3
Two of our community coaches, Mary Sakala and Emmanuel Zimba, under the ZIKOMO Project, successfully held a Street Handball community pop-up session in Katopola, Chipata. The event was attended by Joseph, who came through to appreciate and support the great work being done by the coaches.
A total of 27 children, aged between 4 and 12 years, participated in the session. The activities included a fun group warm-up with movement games, followed by exciting 4-a-side street handball matches, and concluded with a cool-down session.
It was a vibrant and engaging activity that promoted teamwork, active play, and community involvement among the children.






Street Handball Pop-Up Event No. 4
Today we joined Coach Lazarus Ngoma during a Street Handball community pop-up in Gash Compound, Chipata. The session brought together 68 children aged 3 to 14 years.
Before the activities began, Coach Lazarus prepared and marked the playing area to ensure a safe and organized environment.
The children then took part in group warm-up sessions filled with fun and movement-based activities, creating an energetic and inclusive atmosphere.
The session concluded with exciting 4-a-side Street Handball games, where the children showcased teamwork, enthusiasm, and growing confidence through play.

ZIKOMO Project – Street Handball Training Workshop For Teachers
Chikondi Sports Youth Arise Foundation (CSYAF) successfully concluded the ZIKOMO Project Street Handball Training Workshop yesterday at Kibbutz Academy. The two-day training brought together community volunteers and sports teachers who were introduced to the basic rules of street handball, the importance of fair play, and key safeguarding principles when working with children.
The workshop also included a practical session with children, giving participants an opportunity to apply the knowledge gained during the training in a real play environment.
